Ocean Avenue in Kennebunkport.Mt Katahdin in Baxter State Park is the highest mountain in Maine at 5,271’, it is the crown of Baxter State Park. It presents New England's most formidable climb and is a challenge for any hiker. Mt Battie State Park on the north east side of Camden is an easy drive or hike to spectacular views of Camden, Penobscott Bay and the Coast of Maine. Acadia National Park is Maine’s only National Park, with 35,000 acres primarily on Mount Desert Island comprised of coastline, Cadillac Mountain, plus extensive lakes, ponds and 33 miles of carriage paths that are ideal for hiking or biking.
