Naples, Maine is a lake lover's paradise. Actually named for Naples Italy, this Maine town is surrounded by lakes, Songo Lake, Long Lake, Brandi Pond and Sebago Lake all converge within Naples. For over a century Naples has welcomed summer vacationers for its cool lake swimming, fishing and fun. Visitors to Naples should take a ride on the Songo River Queen, a 93 foot long, 23 foot wide replica of the famed Mississippi River Paddle Wheelers. Or rent a boat and explore the authentic lock system between lakes - the only hand operated lock still working as it did in the 19th century.


Naples is a happening place, with the annual Naples Blues Festival, and plenty of lake activities from waterskiing and wakeboarding to sailing on one of Maine's cleanest lakes.
